Our “roto” kayaks are made of high-density polyethylene, which is virtually maintenance-free. A minimal amount of care in storage and transporting will help the kayak maintain a like-new condition for many years. Polyethylene will become more flexible when in warm conditions such as a hot, sunny day.

Though no kayak is perfect, the Perception Pescador Pro 12 Kayak is nearly as good as you can get. One thing I will advise you of ahead of time, is that this kayak is not stable enough to stand up in, unless you have very good balance and agility.

Is the perception sport Pescador 12 angler kayak comfortable?
The kayak tracks great through the water, is very easy to paddle and maneuver and can be handled by one person (much easier with two people, though) and I love that an anchor is included with it. I’ve used it to go through the mangrove trails as well as rivers and the kayak performs wonderfully. The seat is very comfortable, too.
