Yes! If you are a Copart Member, we highly encourage you to inspect vehicles in person before bidding. If you’re unable to inspect a vehicle in person, Copart even provides a list of inspection services that will inspect vehicles on your behalf.

How do you buy a car at an auction in Texas?

What am I required to bring, as a public buyer? You will require a current driver’s license and your form of payment. Contact the auction location you plan to visit to verify what forms they accept. Most auto auctions in Texas take Cash and/or major Credit/Debit cards.

Do you have to pay to bid on Copart?
