What is control horn?
The nylon control horns are used to connect control surfaces such as rudders and ailerons to the airplane. The nylon control horns sandwich the control surface between the two horn bases and offer a no slip installation.

Place a one-inch portion of a two-inch piece of fiberglass tape onto the aileron at each tip. Fold the tape over the edge onto the wing, connecting the two pieces. Fold the aileron over so that it lies flat to the side of the wing with the bevel side downward. There should be a gap between the two pieces.
