Can you use fermacell dry lining on plasterboard?

What kind of insulation is used in fermacell flooring?

To reduce airborne and impact noise and to increase fire protection, elements are offered with insulation made of 10 mm wood fibre insulation board or 10 mm high-density mineral wool. In principle, a level substrate is required for the installation of fermacell® gypsum fibre flooring elements.

What can fermacell bonded fill be used for?

With fermacell® bonded fill, height differences of up to 2000 mm can be levelled. Due to its high strength, water insensitivity and low weight, it is suitable for use in public buildings, schools or wet areas and can be used on wooden beam ceilings, arched ceilings and trapezoidal steel ceilings.
