Sandy Balls has welcomed hundreds of thousands of guests to the village since opening its doors nearly 100 years ago. Its name dates back to the reign of King Henry VII when “sandyballas” – domed sand and gravel outcrops on the site’s western boundary – first appeared on maps.

Had to call up to check to see if Sandy Balls supplied any toiletries as nothing was mentioned on booking. for anyone booking make sure to take EVERYTHING with you. soap, towels, shower towel for wet floors, toilet roll, washing up liquid, sponges! all they provide is bedding.
