When should you not take PicoPrep?
PicoPrep should not be used by patients with gastrointestinal obstruction, gastric retention, bowel perforation (frank or suspected), toxic colitis, toxic megacolon, ileus and those with a stoma. PicoPrep should not be used in children below the age of 9 years.
Can I eat after PicoPrep?
After having taken PICOPREP®, please wait 30 minutes and then drink 6 – 8 x 250 ml of NON- CARBONATED clear fluid distributed over several hours. You can drink clear fruit juice (without pulp), clear soft drinks, and clear, slightly salted soups.
